It all begins with an idea.
So, sadly takeaways are the name of the game. However, not only are we serving our award winning Bean Brothers’ coffee, and teas, hot chocolates, and mulled wine, but we are still offering our entire food menu.
Hearty soups, fresh sandwiches, bagels, grilled sandwiches, toast and porridge (to name a few choices), as well as homemade cakes and festive biscuits are all available to takeout. You can also take the stress out of Christmas shopping by perusing our selection of festive coffee hampers and vintage goodies.
So whether it’s a single origin black honey processed Aeropress or a Bailey’s mocha with cream and marshmallows, a grilled Swiss cheese, turkey, bacon and cranberry on ciabatta or avocado, mozzarella, and roasted vegetables on artisan bread we look forward to seeing you soon.
And the good news is with the shops reopening and the frenzy of Christmas shopping upon us we are extending our opening hours. We will now keep the kitchen open until 5pm on weekdays, closing our doors at 6pm. The weekend hours will remain the same, Saturdays 7.30am to 4pm (kitchen closing at 3pm) and Sundays 9am to 4pm (kitchen closing at 3pm).
Hampers in the camper
It all begins with an idea.
December 1st and the house is awash with coffee bags, mugs, V60s, grinders, tote bags, ribbon, trim and festive frippery. Covering the Evo hampers neatly with cellophane nearly broke us……. but they are finally ready for all those last minute, I mean carefully thought out, presents for loved ones.
Gingerly transported in the VW Bean Bus they are now displayed at Evo and awaiting your judicious selection. We have our traditional hampers, both small and generous, and this year some amazing wire storage containers stuffed with Bean Brothers’ stocking filter beans/ground and various coffee paraphernalia.
And once the fabulous contents have been emptied the wire baskets are useful storage containers.
All Evo hampers come in a variety of sizes and prices, and we can make them bespoke if they don’t have the exact combo of goodies you require. Also available is take away mulled wine, Christmas cake, mince pies and yule biscuits (by Holmemades) to help ease you into the festive mood.
Whatever you consume, as we come to the end of this extraordinary year, hopefully it is with local, independent makers.
